Who We Are Headquarters for The School Book Center, Inc. is located in Granger, Indiana, just northeast of South Bend and the University of Notre Dame, and about 70 miles due east of Chicago. Our shipping and warehouse distribution center is in South Bend, Indiana, which is centrally located for rapid delivery and shipment throughout the country utilizing UPS, Fedex, or freight transportation by truck. The School Book Center is a privately-owned business. The principle owners, William and Ling Burke, have three children in high school. We are actively involved in school functions and PTA -- definitely excellent experience for knowing what books kids want and teachers need.
